THIS WAS THE BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!!
WOW, I just didnt realize you could do so many scary and fun things in one long weekend! But somehow, Mommy and Daddy pulled it off.
Days ago, we had a weird start to the day. Mommy took off looking all pretty, which is normal. Then Daddy didnt walk over and stare at his bright walls that change color. At this point, I should have known something very different was about to happen but it didnt click yet. As the day went on, Daddy played with me and Armada. We went outside and played and inside. He kept running up the stairs and getting stuff to put in Mommys fast moving box. After this repeated for most of the day, he loaded me and Armada up and we took off. I was a little concerned that Mommy wasnt with us but I should have known that was not going to last long.
After a little bit, we stopped and Mommy got in the box with us. This time was not a short time. Riding in Mommy’s fast moving box wasn’t that fun, but in between fast moving box rides it was SSSOOOO much fun! After what seemed like FOREVER, we stopped in a new place that I had never seen before. Daddy took me and Armada to our room and it was much smaller than home. Thats ok, there was still a bed for me to turn down. It was a long day so we went to sleep soon after.
The next day, Mommy and Daddy woke me and Armada up and took us to one of the largest ponds I have ever seen! It was CRAZY! There were lots of people and lots of dogs. I was pretty scared at first so Daddy got me out and protected me while I watched all the new people and dogs! When it was finally my turn to play I had SSSOOO MUCH FUN!!! I got to run around in the sand and then chase Daddy into the water, and then he dropped my splunky into the water and picked it up for him. We did all the fun stuff we do at Aunt Mama’s, but it was easier to get in and out of the water. After we practiced, in front of everybody we went over to another beach where there weren’t as many people and I got to play in the water with Caly, Phoebe, and MamaBug! When we got back to the little bedroom Not Mommy was there, with my other cousins. I think Mommy called them munchkins….I gave them LOTS and LOTS of kisses!
The next morning Daddy woke up REALLY early and he met the rest of the gang and we went back to the place with the lake. I had to wait very patiently in my crate for a while, but Daddy eventually got me out and was playing with me. Then we got to play in the water again! This time Daddy seemed a little more stressed, and there was a weird lady in the ring telling Daddy what to do. I was a little bit distracted and I didn’t pick splunky up for Daddy. He didnt seem to care though. Next, someone through a bumper for me. It wasn't that far in the water, so I went and brought it to Daddy. He was SOOOO happy. Then we went for a boat ride. I just sat by Daddy and watched all the weird stuff going on in front of me. Last we went for a swim. It was fun but weird. Daddy swims much higher in this pond. It confused me but, I like swimming with Daddy. The weirdest thing that happened was that night. The beds are not what I am used to. I was sleeping on the bed with Mommy and Daddy when all of a sudden, I hit the ground. I dont know what happened but Daddy came over to check on me really fast. I looked up and saw Armada shaking his head. Not Mommy was laughing and said, he just fell off the bed. I didnt find it overly funny though. Daddy put me in my crate after that and said it was for my own safety.
The next day was a lot like the last one. We got up early again and went to the big pond. This time was different though. Mommy and Daddy took me to a different area to play with me and it was great. It was just us and we played with the bumper and the splunky. I got lots of yummy treats and Daddy played tug with me. Then we went to the ring again with a new person telling us what to do. First was splunky, so I just stuck my head down and picked it up for Daddy. It was much easier today. Then someone through a bumper WAYYYY out in the water. I am still not very sure of this game but Daddy kept asking me to go pick it up for him. So I swam out and got it. When I got close to Daddy, I could touch the ground and it confused me. I dropped the bumper and ran to Daddy. I guess the game wasnt done because Daddy walked with me back to get the bumper. Then we had another boat ride and swim. I wasnt nearly as stressed this time. After we played, Daddy took me to some lady that was really good at petting me. It was so relaxing.
The next day we went back to the big pond but I didnt have to get in the ring. I just got to play in the water and see my family. Then Mommy and Daddy loaded me and Armada up and we started going home in the fast moving box......so I thought! We didnt go home! We went to another place with a really small pond. I found out I have even more cousins and they are FUN! Mylie took me down to the small pond to play and Bri took Armada. We had a lot of fun with them. Then we stayed in a new place that was much bigger than the room we were in the past few nights. It was great to get to stretch my legs.
The next day we went to yet ANOTHER pond. This one was bigger than yesterdays and much smaller than the other one. But it was very weird. The water was cold and moving. It made me swim harder. It was confusing but very fun. Mylie took me again and Bri took Armada. We went on this nice long walk and got to play in the pond periodically. After the walk, we got in the fast moving box and went to another pond! It was very similar to the one we just left and even had fast water. Mommy played splunky with me and I ran around the water with Mylie for a while. When we finished, we got back in Mommy's fast moving box for a LONG time. It was very boring but when we stopped, we were home.
This weekend has blown my mind. I got to meet LOTS of new people and see and do so many new things. It will take me a couple days to recover from this but I can't WAIT to do this again!
