I got to spend last week with my sons, Armada and Trek. It was quite a relaxing vacation, if I do say so myself. I was going to let my adoring public know about this sooner, but Mama isn't the greatest at letting me use her computer in a timely manner. Last week, Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jeremy brought Armada and Trek up to play in the pond. We had a fun time. Lots of chasing and retrieving going on. When we were finished playing in the water Uncle Jeremy said to Mama "don't worry about bathing them, we'll just load them up and head out, it's getting late." I thought the same thing about it being too late for a bath, I was excited that I ended up getting loaded up into Aunt Colleen's car too!!! It was so cool! I was not expecting that!

The week at home was pretty awesome, nice and relaxing. Uncle Jeremy played a few games with me here and there throughout the week, but overall there were lots of cuddles. One of the days Uncle Jeremy left before Aunt Colleen got home, so he put Trek and the weird looking puppy into crates and left me and Armada out to protect the house. When Aunt Colleen got home I reported to her that nothing had happen and the house was safe. I also paraded with one of her shoes.....Aunt Colleen likes when I parade with her shoes, so that's why I make sure I do it every chance I get! :) That night was pretty calm, except Trek tried to jump into a plastic box. Then he kept being all excited as if he thought something fun was going to happen. The next morning, Aunt Colleen woke up FAR too early on a weekend. I heard food being poured into bowls so I came down to investigate. That's when I realized Aunt Colleen also had a bunch of her stuff packed in bags and our stuff packed sitting next to the door. Now I know why Trek was so excited!!!!! We're going on a Road Trip!!!!

I was a little concerned at first b/c Mama wasn't around, and she wasn't with me, but Aunt Colleen is pretty awesome! She always makes sure we have a good time. We got to the pond that Aunt Tamara practices at and I got to get wet some. I also got to see my daughter Mila, and her sister Fergie, and a few others. It was a good time. After a while we went to Aunt Tamara's house, and the boys and girls played and played and played. I sat on the picnic table over seeing my kingdom and getting lots of pets and cuddles. I guess Trek got worn out somehow and he finally laid down. When we went inside he had to play with almost EVERY toy Mila and Fergie own.

When we got to the hotel room later that evening, I took my preferred spot in the bed and everybody else cuddled up next to me. It was a fairly comfortable bed, but not nearly as comfortable as Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jeremy's bed. They have the most amazing bed!!!! That is part of the reason that I don't find it necessary to get out of bed too early in the morning when I stay at their house. Again, Aunt Colleen go up WAY earlier than anybody should be up on a weekend for Sunday morning too. We went back to the big pond, and had lots of fun. Trek was clearly rested since he was being quite the loud mouth most of the morning. After a few hours of playing we were back in the car and heading home. That evening was very relaxing. We mostly just cuddled on the couch and watched TV all night. Uncle Jeremy finally got home WAY past our bedtime. I got up and gave him his nightly kisses. Then we all went back to sleep.

Some of my other Aunts came the next day, and Uncle Jeremy said I needed to get into a closet for some reason....Eventually Aunt Cindi found me and took me to her house for a little bit. Later that day I went home. I'm happy to be home, but I had tons of fun with Aunt Colleen and my sons!!! Vacations are fun!

To quote my goofy son Trek, "yesterday was the best day ever!"

Yesterday was my birthday!  And my Mommy sure knows how to throw a party!  She invited all kinds of family.  Jack was there of course.  He has been around as long as I can remember.  My brother, Indy, and my sister, Emma, were there to celebrate their birthdays.  Lots of others were there too.  Bela came and it was great to see her running around and playing again. And some of my kids came too.  I got to play with Caly and Armada.  Trek showed up later but he hurt his paw and couldn't play much with the rest of us.

We went up to the pond and swam for a really long time.  We swam for bumpers and ran around the pond a bunch.  We saw geese in the water at one point, but none of us were crazy enough to chase them in the water.  We just barked at them from the edge.  I really enjoyed watch Bela running around and swimming. At one point, she went out swimming and loved it so much, she just swam in circles in the middle of the pond and didn't want to come in.  Caly was her normal rambunctious self.  She ran all over and flew in to the water to get her bumper.  Armada kept up his normal antics.  Whenever Caly or I would bring a bumper in, he stands a little bit out in the water and takes it from us.  I hope he figures out this game one of these days.  Its much more fun to swim out for it.  Emma swam quite a bit too and she was even getting bumpers from the water.  Indy mostly ran around with a bumper in his mouth.  Its not as fun as swimming out for a bumper in my opinion, but to each his own.

After we finished swimming, we went back down to the house and got showers.  Trek showed up near the end of our showers.  He was soaking wet so its hard to tell what he got in to, but I have no doubt it was crazy puppy stuff.  We played around for a while and at one point, we did tricks for the humans.  When it was getting close to time for people to leave, we got the best birthday gift.....ICE CREAM!  It was really good.  Mommy had Indy, Emma, and myself to go the front yard for pictures and then everyone started to leave.

When it was time for Aunt Colleen to leave, Mommy took me over to her truck.  This can only mean one thing, sleep over with Uncle Jeremy and I get to play agility this week!

Trek definitely got this one right.  Best day ever!

Mama said I had to watch my sons while she and Daddy go to Georgia to visit with my son (James) my granddaughter (Quinn) and their people. Mama and Daddy are also going to visit my human Aunt Debra and cousin, Hayley, so on Sunday Aunt Colleen came and stole me and took me to her house. I was very excited to go because Uncle Jeremy and I always play a lot of fun games. You can imagine how upset I was to learn that my Jeremy wasn't going to be home for most of my stay!!!! I have nobody to give ALL of my kisses to at night, but Aunt Colleen lets me cuddle with her all night long. Not only do I not get to give Jeremy all my kisses, but Aunt Colleen makes me wake up WAY earlier than Uncle Jeremy does. On Monday, I came down for food, and Aunt Colleen locked me in a crate, and then left! It was hours before the kid got home and let us all out! This is not the fun adventure it usually is when I stay at Aunt Colleen's house, but my sons have been a little crazy, so I completely understand why I must help while Uncle Jeremy isn't here. The other night Armada was bouncing all over the place, he kept tag, spin, play bowing at Trek and me. Eventually Trek started playing tug with Armada. They are fun boys to watch play.

Yesterday was a little bit better. Aunt Colleen locked me in a crate again, but the kid didn't have school, so when he woke up he let us all out of our crates. Then we all went outside for far longer than we should have been out there. I only need to be outside for 2 minutes, he left us out there for like 10 minutes. Then he let us go upstairs with him. Trek and I took advantage of this and cuddled with him in his bed. Armada just laid on the floor. This is the life! Cuddling all day on a bed! It's perfect!!!! When Aunt Colleen got home from work, she subjected us pups to something less than entertaining. We went on a walk....a much longer than it should have been walk. She kept walking past the house, as if she was lost or something. Eventually, Armada and I just stopped right at the driveway, and I think that's when she realized she was getting ready to walk past the house again. It's a good thing us puppies know where we live, otherwise Aunt Colleen might have never figured out how to get home!

Aunt Colleen let us all out for last call, and even though I made it very clear I did NOT have to go out, she put a leash on me and took me to the back door and made me go outside again. Once we came back inside she put my sons in their beds, and then we headed upstairs. She had to help the kid with his homework and they started barking weird. Some of the sounds were normal, but occasionally it was a different kind of bark. I just laid down and listened, in case they needed me to help too. Then Aunt Colleen took me to her room and I excitedly jumped into bed waiting for her to cuddle with me. She took WAY too long playing in the water, so I decided to see what the kid was up too. He was laying in his bed, so I decided that was the place to sleep! This morning Aunt Colleen woke me up far too early again, but she left me out of my crate when she left! I get to rule over my kingdom from my throne today!!!!

This was a really nice weekend.  On Saturday, a few of my kids (Caly, Armada, and Trek) came over to visit.  It wasn't long after that my brother and sister (Indy and Bela) showed up as well.  I love it when everyone gets together.  It normally means a nice run through the woods and some play time at the pond.  Sometimes we get to do both!  Well, as is normal, I was right.  We got to take a nice hike in the woods.  For some reason, the humans kept my youngest son, Trek, locked up in a crate.  He is still young, so I would not be the slightest surprised if he hurt himself.  The boy is a lot like his Daddy. CRAZY!

We did have a great time in the woods and play time at the pond was a blast.  The humans have been making some changes up there.  Large square shaped trees are in front of the pond, the launching place for the boats is closer to the water, this really weird feeling dirt is in the area where we normally get in the water, and I can walk further out before I have to swim.  I do not know whats going on, but so far I like it.  We fetched bumpers and swam for a while before going down to the house to clean up.  Trek came out a little bit later and I saw him limping some.  Go figure, he hurt himself.  I heard his human Mommy say he sprained his toe.....seriously....how do you sprain a toe.  Kids!

When everyone was heading out, I got a special treat.  Mommy took me out to Aunt Colleens car.  This is good and bad.  I have a lot of fun over there. Uncle Jeremy plays so many games with me.  We have been working a lot on a game called "drop it."  He has me run away from him with a rope and when he says "drop it," I am supposed to spit it out.  Sometimes, I forget and come back for my treat without spitting it out. Normally I remember though.  We have also been playing with weave poles in the hall.  What kind of crazy people put weave poles in the hall in their house.  HAHAHAHA.  Apparently that would be Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jeremy. Uncle Jeremy talks a lot about how he wants me to practice Agikity.  I have no idea what he is talking about.  They don't even own a cat!  The only down side is that I have to deal with my young son Trek.  Normally I just ignore him.....even when he keeps trying to get me to play tug.  Sometimes I play with him for a few minutes to shut him up.  But when he tries to push me out from under Uncle Jeremy's desk while he is working, or if he jumps on me in the bed, I have to give him a piece of my mind.  It scares him and he normally knocks it off pretty quickly.

Uncle Jeremy likes to play crate games too.  This is where I always get my food.  They have really good food, and I have my own bowl that the boys don't get to use.  Its pink, and pretty like me.  This morning, Uncle Jeremy mixed up a raw egg with my regular food.  Last night, I got some raw chicken.  He always gives me a nice treat of some kind before I go back home.  I am really hoping for deer this time.

Well, I am going to head out.  Uncle Jeremy put the boys in their crates, has the weave poles in the hall and is calling for me.  I guess its time to play some more!

It started out as a normal weekend.  We got a visit from some of the kids to go play at the pond.  It was fun running around, swimming, and dragging bumpers on the hill.  We went back down to the house and got showers from Mama.  All normal stuff.

Then it happened.  Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jeremy were loading up.......and they took me too!!!!  I LOVE sleepovers at their house.

We got to the house and it was already late.  Trek got banished to the kids room.  Armada and I slept in the big bed with Aunt Colleen.  I feel its my place to say thank you to Uncle Jeremy each night. After he brushes his teeth and cleans his face, he lays down in bed.  Thats when I walk over and give him kisses all over his face.  Then I lay down below Aunt Colleens feet, since there is plenty of room, to go to sleep.

The next day, I got out of bed and ran into the door.  It hurt a little and I just couldnt see it.  Then I went downstairs and played the find the line game for my breakfast.  I found it, of course, and drug is straight to my create where Uncle Jeremy feeds me.  I figured it would be more efficient that way.

Later, I went outside to play more games.  This time its the weave game.  Its hard but fun.  I kept running in to the poles.  I think Uncle Jeremy could tell.  The next thing I know, we are on the back porch and he has scissors.  HE CUT MY BANGS!  I didnt want him to do it so I moved some.  But after he was done, I COULD SEE!  It was wonderful.  I did much better at weaves after that.

A couple days later, Aunt Colleen was trimming Armada.  I think she pushed him off the grooming table before Uncle Jeremy could get there.  He got a nasty cut on his butt and I know my baby is smarter than to fall off.  Uncle Jeremy shaved Trek a little bit later and tried to convince Aunt Colleen to let him trim me.  He did a great job on Trek, so I know he would have done a great job on me.  I dont think Aunt Colleen trusted him though.  She took her cutting stuff with her when she left with Armada.

It has been a lot of fun.  Today is the day, Aunt Colleen and Uncle Jeremy go play in the pond so I am guessing I will go home soon.
