The past week, or so, has been really fun!!!! A few weeks ago, Mommy called up some of my friends and asked if they'd come play with me with some kids. Kids are my favorites!!! We had Shamrock, Sampson, Indy, Trek, Deja, and ME!!!! The Hospice Organization that Mommy and I volunteer with do a one day camp called Camp-Mend-A-Heart. It's a camp for kids between the ages of 5-14 (or so) who have lost a loved one. Some of these kids are very sad when they come to camp. During our visit with the kids, we showed off our mad agility skills, then we taught the kids about dog safety. The kids got to practice their skills by asking to pet each one of us, and then petting us and loving on us! Then we showed off our mad Trick skills!!! Shamrock was awesome and did a bunch of fun tricks. Trek was also pretty awesome with his trick skills! I did a few tricks, but I'm working, so I'm supposed to be super good, so I didn't do quite as well with my tricks. Oops! The kids asked all kind of questions, giggled, laughed, and smiled. I think we brightened their day. It was so much fun!

The next day, we went to an agility seminar. This nice lady named Susan was there, and she made Mommy get more excited to run me. Mrs. Susan was way more fun to play with than Mommy was, but as Mommy got the idea it started to be fun running with Mommy too! Mommy does do a really good job at showing me where I'm supposed to go on course though! It was so much fun!!! After we got finished Mrs. Katy let me and the Oaf play in her pond for a little bit. It was nice to get wet because it was pretty hot.

On Monday, I got to show off my mad Therapy Dog skills by getting to go visit at Hospice while Daddy was having a procedure done. It wasn't anything terrible, but Mommy had to chauffer him everywhere for the day afterwards. Therapy Dog visits are my favorite!!! We also went to Modern Woodmen's South Charleston office, so they could learn more about what me and Mommy do. All the nice people there seemed to really enjoy getting to pet me. I made sure to get to everybody, but there were some people that needed me more than others. They were really nice people!

The best part of the past week was this past weekend! We got to play agility for real!!!! On our way up, we met up with Mommy and Daddy's friends Mrs. Chris, Mr. Nate, and their human puppy Ava. Ava was really sweet. She was fun to cuddle next to and let her pet me. She was very gentle. Then we got back in the car and travelled some longer and got to a hotel. The next morning the Oaf was, well an Oaf, so Mommy found a cool hiking trail for us to go to. There was a big lake, but there were signs all over that basically said we couldn't swim. The Oaf was NOT happy about that! On our hike Trek found a swimming hole, that we could get into. It was hot, so I followed him in. We went back to the hotel for a little bit, then it was off to the trial!!! We got to see Chanty and Mrs. Sigrid and also Cali and Aunt Debbie!!! We waited for what seemed like forever, but then Mommy got me out and started playing with me. Me and Mommy played the recall game with Daddy, and then me and Mommy played with the single jump. Pretty soon it was my time to SHINE!!!! It was a fun course, and afterwards I got a really yummy jackpot! Then Mommy sat down with me, pulled me into her lap and started crying happy tears. She told me that Aidan would be really proud of me. I always wanted to be like Aidan, and now I am (kind of)!!! After we got my ribbons, and Mommy cried some more. I went back into my crate to rest. The next time I came out was for my Jumpers run. I was even more awesome than I was in Standard. I got first place again, and Mommy was still SUPER happy again!

After we got finished, we loaded up into the car and went to Aunt Debbie and Uncle Scott's house! They were nice enough to let us have dinner with them, and let me and the Oaf play in the back yard. Aunt Debbie has a pond in her back yard! The Oaf was so excited about that. It was hot, so I swam some, but then Daddy got a bumper out of the car. The Oaf was playing tug with Daddy and retrieving, which looked like a lot of fun, so I decided to steal the bumper and play with Mommy some! It was actually a lot of fun! After a little while Aunt Debbie let my sister Tootsie come out to play with us! According to everybody, Tootsie looks like me, but acts like the Oaf. She didn't act too Oaf-like, except for when she got on the table to try to steal butter. Cali came outside too, but she didn't want to play with us very much. It was such a fun evening!!!

The next day we went back to the agility trial! Mommy said I had to do a harder Standard course today since I got my title the day before. This Standard course had 12 weave poles, but was otherwise pretty much the same! I got a little nervous and didn't do my weave poles like I usually do. Mommy was still happy with me and I still got yummy treats afterwards, but I didn't get to get any ribbons. Mommy kept saying that the next course was going to be easy and it was, so I took off like a bullet and tried to race Mommy to the finish line. She may have won, but I wasn't too far behind! Mommy got all excited and almost cried happy tears again!!! I got another extra pretty ribbon!!!! Since it was so hot Mommy and Daddy carried me and the Oaf to the car and we started heading home. About half way home, the Oaf and I got to have a picnic for our dinner, and then it was non-stop until we got home.

So much fun all in a little over a week! I'm exhausted, so I'm going to go take a nap!

Tchau!!!

The weekend started off a bit strange. Everybody woke up early in the morning. Me and the Oaf received our morning sustenance like normal, but there was no sleeping in. Then Mommy and Daddy took the Oaf and left, woosh gone! I get a day all myself without silly Daddy and the goofy Oaf! HAAALLLLLLLelujah!!!!! This was awesome!!! I took naps where I pleased and people watched the neighbors. It was fantastic!!! After, I don't know how long, I'm a dog, I can't count, they all came back home, but there was an extra. Trek brought home a Mini Him! The puppy's name is Deja, and he's cute enough, I suppose. The Oaf would NOT stop going on and on about how much he wanted to play with the puppy and how much fun the puppy was. They played most of the night, to the point where Deja decided he needed a nap. I put up with the Littlest Oaf well enough, and I might have played with him a little bit.

The Littlest Oaf slept pretty well, but Mommy made me and the Oaf sleep in our crates in our room with him. That kind of sucked! The best part was when Mommy came down super earlier than she ever does and let all of us outside. I did my business and came back onto the porch knowing that the Littlest Oaf wouldn't be able to annoy me. Oh boy, was I wrong!!! Somehow that little thing figured out how to come up the steep ramp and through the dog door....I'm pretty sure the Oaf taught him that just to annoy me! When we came back in Mommy gave all of us some food scattered in our crates! That was awesome!!!! We got to have Breakfast and a 2nd Breakfast. We kind of got Elevenses when we got to Aunt Mama's house! I guess you could say our Lunch was the treats we got for playing at the pond, and then we only had Supper, but not Afternoon Tea or Dinner.

Aunt Momma, Aunt Cindi, and Mommy took the Oaf and Phoebe up to the pond without me or MamaBug. Not Cool!!! I mean I don't much care for swimming all that often, but still! After a while Aunt Momma and Daddy came down and got me and MamaBug!!! Yay!!! I ran right into the water much to the surprise of Mommy! I then got to play some fun games with Mommy. She had a marker super close to shore and I got to go out and hit it. When I got back Mommy gave me some yummy puppy food for treats. I noticed a dummy on the ground and thought that Mommy might need it for something and brought to it. I'm helpful!!!! Then she kept throwing it into the water. I'm not sure what's up with that, so I went out and got it and brought it back to her. I got lots of yumminess for being helpful!!! Go me! After showers we headed home. It was a nice quiet evening with only one Oaf!!!!

Tchau!!!

As many of you know, Mommy, Daddy, the Oaf, and myself met up with the Little Oaf and Aunt Jennie for a race this past weekend. I've been exhausted, so I haven't gotten to share with my wonderful audience about this...different...experience. It was a VERY long trip, but it was a lot of fun. On our second day of the trip Mommy saw a park, so we stopped mostly to let the Oaf get some of his oafiness out. That puppy can be a little wild if he's in a crate all day long. It was a typical park with lots of really neat trails and some swimming holes. It was very hot, so I thought it best to hop into a swimming hole or two (after the Oaf of course, I have to let the guinea pig make sure its safe). After we hiked some we went back to the car, and hit the road again, but we weren't in the car for NEARLY the same amount as before. It seemed like no time at all and we were in a hotel room. A little bit after we arrived Mommy's phone rang and she went outside for a little bit. When she came back, she had Aunt Jennie and my cousin the Little Oaf with her! I knew this was going to be fun! Anytime Aunt Jennie comes to a hotel with us, we always have lots of fun. Later that evening we drove to a place with a BUNCH of dogs and loud music! Mommy made me wear my harness with my "Aramda-geddon" patches on it. Big Oaf wore his harness with his "Super Trek" patches, and the Little Oaf had a harness that matched ours with patches that read "Princess." We stood in line for a little bit while Mommy, Daddy, and Aunt Jennie picked up some bags, then we walked around and looked at some things, and talked to people and their dogs. We went back to the hotel where we had dinner and Mommy said we needed to "rest up for the big day tomorrow." Whatever that's supposed to mean....

Well the big day ended up being the WEIRDEST hike ever!!!! First we ended up running up and down some sand dunes, then on a big dog walk with some jumps on it, and then Mommy put me in a pool of water (angry face). She helped me get through it, but it still wasn't very fun. Next we ran in a creek! Don't these people realize that it's much easier to run next to the creek. Then Mommy put me in a a REALLY long tunnel and she crawled through it with me. We ended up having to wait for the Little Oaf and Aunt Jennie after that. This hike included more weird things, like more big tunnels, A-Frames that Mommy did WITH me, another run through a bigger creek, this time it was WAY longer than the first one. Mommy and Aunt Jennie switched back and forth between handing me and the Little Oaf. The Little Oaf doesn't have very good manners, so it was easier on Aunt Jennie if she walked me instead. It was a long hike, but a fun hike. Mommy said I was the worse dog for hills ever. I think I'll take that as a compliment. The end of the race was pretty easy, except Mommy jumped into a big thing of water, and I wasn't falling for her tricks again, so I went around! The most amazing thing happened after the race, both of the Oafs laid down and acted like they had manners for once. We also got a pretty cool medal!

Our trip home was REALLY long, but we did it all in one day. It was quite boring and uneventful to be honest, except the Big Oaf and I finally added Georgia to a state we've been too! Mommy made sure we stopped in Georgia so we could put our paws on the ground. That means me and the Oaf have been to all of the states in the Eastern Time Zone, except Maine, Delaware, and Flordia. We've also been to Alabama now! We're well traveled little pups!

Tchau!!!

This started out like it was going to be an exciting adventure. Mommy came home from the place that she wears her pretty clothes, and she put a bunch of stuff in her car and then got me and the Oaf!!! This seems like a road trip! Woo hoo!!! Road Trips are always fun, but this one has not been....

We started out in our crates for FOREVER!!!!! It was really late, but awesome to finally get out of our crates the first night. The Oaf was being all oaf-like and woke us all up trying to cuddle. The next day we got back in our crates and ended up at a lake. Looks like we're going to a water trial. I crossed my little paws that I wasn't going to have to play. I went three days without having to play near all the people. I got in the water on our walks though, and it was nice and cool and refreshing!

The best part of this trip was celebrating Aidan's Birthday yesterday! We got ice cream! Vanilla ice cream is one of my most favorite things. It looked like I would get my own, but then Mommy said that was too much, so I had to share with my pesky little brother.....I told him I didn't want to share, so Mommy made us "take turns." I think I still got more than the Oaf did though.

Today was another boring day of sleeping in my crate, but the Oaf is being less Oaf-like, so that's a HUGE bonus. I'm sure we'll all actually get some good sleep tonight finally!

Tchau!

This weekend started off very WEIRD!!!! Aunt Jennie showed up in the middle of the night with Rhea (she's the best cousin ever...well besides Phoebe, but I get to see Phoebe all the time, so it's extra special when Rhea comes to visit) and munchkins. Mommy and Daddy woke up WAY earlier than they usually do, even when they wake up to get chased. Then they took the Oaf, and left for ALL day!!!!! I got to hang out with Aunt Chrissy and Rhea. We helped Aunt Chrissy clean up the house some. She said a bunch of people were going to be coming over to we had to make the house super pretty! The best part of the day was when Mommy let me sleep with Aunt Jennie and Rhea!

When the Oaf got home he was crazy, like usual, but then he was galloping all over the play saying "I'm FREE! I'm FREE!!!!!!" Now he's been running around like his crazy old self. I'm assuming he's allowed to be a crazy dog again. Although he was being crazy, Mommy made him go to our room for a little while and said he couldn't be a crazy dog yet. When people started coming over, the Oaf was allowed to be the Oaf and he played with his bestie Balta!!! I got to hang out with Rhea all day. It was so much fun!!!! Daddy put a bunch of crabby things in my shower. They smelled terrible, but tasted delicious!!!! The best part was all of my Aunts who came to visit! Aunt Mama gave me shrimp heads and I got to hang out with Miss Betty and Miss Lori for a little while! After I had some more shrimp heads, and crawfish Mommy got the Oaf and we each got some ice cream to celebrate Aunt Bela's Birthday last weekend.

We had SSSSOOOOOOO much fun I didn't think the weekend could get any better! And then it did...well first it didn't! Aunt Jennie, the munchkins, and my Rhea left this morning :( I was hoping to play with Rhea more, but when Mommy got home from eating breakfast she told me we were going to go visit people at Hospice, since Daddy has had to work all day. I love visiting all the nice people at Hospice. Today I got to cuddle with one of the patients. I think she liked my cuddles. Her family and friends loved my visit. I like making people happy!!! I don't know if my weekend could have gotten any better!

Tchau!!!!
