Yesterday was the best day ever!
I am not sure what is going on with Daddy but he has been taking me and Armada on a lot of runs lately. It has been so much fun! And we get to go to different places too.
A couple days ago, Mommy and Daddy took me and Armada on a hike. It started out like normal. Daddy put my long leash on so I can run around some and Mommy had Armada. We started out the trail and then it got unfair. Mommy took Armadas leash off and he got to roam around free. I am glad Daddy has a long leash for me. At least I can move around some. We got to our first stop which is a watering hole and Mommy played the Come game with Armada. He ran a LONG ways to her. When Mommy got closer, Daddy took me off leash! I didn't know what to do! It was crazy. Armada and I ran around all over the place for a few minutes. Then Daddy put me back on leash. He said I was still a little too crazy.
After getting leashed up, we went on up the hill. Its a very steep hill and takes a while to get to the top. Daddy got to the top with me and Armada and then Armada went back down the hill to walk with Mommy the rest of the way up. We got to jog some to our next stop and the most amazing thing happened. Mommy put Armada on his leash! AND DADDY TOOK MINE OFF!!!! I ran around for a bit again but I wasnt as crazy as the first time. Every time I would get away from Daddy, he would holler at me to come back. I didnt mind though because he gave me treats each time I did. We did this for what seemed like forever before Daddy put my leash back on! Mommy said it was half a mile. That must be a long ways. We walked for a while longer and then Daddy took my leash off again! I decided to do something different this time. Every time I came back to Daddy last time, he gave me treats. Maybe if I don't leave, I will get more treats? Well, I was right. I walked right beside Daddy the entire time I was off leash and he kept giving me treats and telling me I was a good boy. I know I am a good boy but I like it when he tells me.
We got back to the house later and Mommy fed us dinner that included raw chicken thighs! Its hard to beat a day like this. Me and Armada then cuddled with Mommy and Daddy for the rest of the night before bed. And to end the night perfectly, Me and Armada got to sleep with Mommy and Daddy.
