New trick
YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!
Mommy and Daddy have been gone a lot lately. I miss them a lot when they are gone but whenever they come back, they always play with me and Armada so much! This past week was pretty slow. We went on a run in the woods one evening and played outside some too. Mommy has been trying to teach me some new tricks.
OHHHH, I decided to teach myself a new trick. I thought to myself, since Daddy works from home, he should be rubbing my belly more. So the other day, I decided to help him help me out. He was sitting at his desk, like normal, clacking on his desk. I put my front paws in his lap. He pet me some but I wanted my belly rubbed. I didnt want to interrupt his work, so I started slowly crawling up in his lap. I guess I was a little louder than I thought. He must have heard me scratching his chair..or maybe his leg. Then it happened. He put his hand behind my head and I boat loaded myself onto his lap. I was so excited that I licked his face. I didnt forget about my original goal though so I started moving around. It still took a little bit of help from Daddy but I got rolled over and he rubbed my belly. He could hardly even tell I was there. :D
Yesterday we went back to the pond at Aunt Mommas house. I had a great time playing with Caly. She is fast and plays really hard with me. We chased and swam and she barked at me. Great times. Then Daddy took me for a swim and then we played a new game. He threw treats into the pond. All I had to do was go get them. Such an easy game for treats. But he did throw some of them out really far.
When I got home, I was pretty tired so me, Armada and Mommy took a nap. Daddy went outside to work on something. I think everyone was pretty tired except the tall clunky kid. He kept trying to get Mommy and Daddy to go play games with him. He is always so loud in the house and I think he falls down every time he goes down the stairs. I hope he gets less clumsy, like me, or he is going to hurt himself.
All in all, its pretty much the same stuff going on. A couple games here and there during the day, play with Mommy and Daddy in the evenings and then repeat. Its been a great summer!
ITS ABOUT TIME
YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!
DADDY IS HOME!!!!! He has been gone forever. I was afraid he wasn't coming back and Mommy would put me in a crate every day when she leaves. Before it was time for Mommy to get home, I heard someone come in the door while Armada and I were stuck in bed. Then Daddy came in our room! I got so excited that I was spinning around and trying to get out. I can't believe he did it, but he let Armada out first and pet him. To get his attention, I started shaking and squealing. Finally, he let me out so I could give him kisses too! He played with me and Armada for a bit and let us outside. But, Daddy was apparently tired so he let us go up to upstairs with him to his room. He fell asleep really fast but I was too excited. So, I started kissing him. When I got to his face, unfortunately, it woke him up. But I had already kissed his arm and chest. After he went to get a towel and wipe off, he took me downstairs and then he went back upstairs for a while. Maybe I kissed him too much? That cant be the issue because I missed him so much.
When Mommy got home, we loaded up in her fast moving box. I should have known I was going to do something fun. DADDY IS HOME! We haven't got to play since he left and I am so full of energy. We got up to Aunt Mamma's house and got to play in the pond. Armada and I ran all over the hill and swam in the pond. Later, Daddy and I swam together. He doesn't give me as many treats as he used to but I like swimming with him and it makes him happy so I keep doing it. He has been working on this game called "Go get it." I haven't quite figured this one out and Daddy has been gone for so long, that I was having trouble concentrating. After a few more games like "bring it" and "hand", we went off the hill so I could see Mommy Doodlebug and Jack. I got a nice shower from Aunt Momma and then went home.
I was hoping I would get to sleep with Daddy but he didn't let us. I heard him tell Mommy that he didn't want another bath from me. I have no idea what that means. If he is upset at me, I will have to give him more kisses later.
I am so glad Daddy is back. So much more fun!
Mommy and Me
YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY WITH MOMMY EVER!!!!!
Well, it was at least since before I met Daddy! When I was a wee pup Mommy used to come over to Aunt Mama's house and take pictures of me and my littermates, so we would usually get lots of yummy food for pictures. That made Mommy fun!!!! Since Daddy is away on his trip, without us (can you believe Daddy wouldn't take me somewhere with him?!?) Mommy has been having fun with me! Even though she doesn't stay home like Daddy does, she was still excited when she got home from pretty clothes wearing place. When she changed out of her pretty clothes, she came downstairs and got some puppy treats out of the fridge. I know what this means!!!!! We're going to do something fun tonight! Turns out Mommy decided to just take me to class! I can't believe it! She's leaving Armada at home and taking ME!!!! Oh we had so much fun, or at least I did. I got to play with puppies, and eat chicken, and help one of the other puppies in one of Mommy's classes. It was so much fun!!!! I did miss my Daddy though, b/c he pays more attention to me when we're in class than Mommy does, but it was still lots of fun.
I wonder if Mommy will let me play in her bed tonight, she didn't last night.
My Daddy is MIA
YESTERDAY WAS THE MOST CONFUSING DAY EVER!!!!!
Daddy left me!!!!! He was home for a day and then he left! Armada told me that it was because he didn't love us anymore, so I stood at the door and screamed for him to come back, but I don't think Daddy heard me because he NEVER came back. I miss my Daddy so much. When Mommy got home from the place where she wears pretty clothes I was so excited to see her! I squealed because I was so excited to see Mommy. I tried to tell her that Daddy wasn't home, but she didn't seem too concerned. After she put her not as pretty clothes on she sat on the couch and I cuddled up with her and she told me that Daddy didn't leave us forever, he just had to go on a business trip for work and he'll be back in a few days.
I was starting to get REALLY worried!!!! I love my Mommy, she's awesome, but my Daddy is so much fun! Mommy let me and Armada sleep with her last night, which was so much fun! I played in the blankets and the sheets all night until I got hot, then I laid down in the bathroom for a little bit to cool off, but sure enough I would jump back on the bed and play in the blankets again. It was so much fun, until Mommy made us go sleep in our normal beds downstairs. :(
I can't wait for Daddy to get home! I love my Daddy!
Quiet Weekend
YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!
Daddy came home!!!! Mommy and Daddy went away for the weekend and left me and Armada with our Aunt Chrissy. We didn't do much though. Me and Armada just played together for most of the weekend, but yesterday Daddy came home!!!!!! I was so excited to see my Daddy. He's the bestestestest. I made sure to let him know how much I missed him by laying on top of him all evening while we were watching the moving picture on the wall. I even gave Mommy lots of kisses, but she sounded like she hurt for some reason, so I made sure to give her extra kisses to make it feel better. That's what she does to me when I go ouchie and it helps!
I'm so excited that my Daddy is home! Yay!
