YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!

I got to sleep in a little bit.  It was nice.  But when Daddy came down to let me out of my crate I was soooooo happy.  We went outside and played.  I got to play tug with Armada and fetch with Daddy.  It was sooooo much fun!

We went to Aunt Cristi's house very early.  We were up near the pond, but Armada and I were trapped!  We could see the pond but no one would let us go play!  We heard a bunch of weird noises and finally I heard Uncle Bruce say that we were done.  I don't know what that meant but they let us out.  I ran straight to the pond and jumped in.  Aunt LeAnne brought someone new.  My Aunt Emma came to play.  Someone new!  YAY!!!!

After we played in the water for a while, we were all put in crates to rest.  Then we took turns practicing.  I was in my crate FOREVER.  I had to go to the bathroom REALLY bad.  I kept barking but no one would listen.  Finally Daddy heard me and let me out.  I immediately had to potty.  Then we started to play.  Our first game was to get on the back of the boat.  It was very similar to my table game in Agikity.  On the second time up, I realized that I HAD to potty again.  So I peed on the platform of the boat.  Daddy shook his head.  Aunt Cristi gave him a bucket and said, cleanup after your dog.  It made me smile.  Its MY Daddy. 

Then we went for a long swim together.  We went to the first marker and then to the second.  We were half way back to the first marker again and Daddy made us turn around.  What is he thinking?  But I like swimming with Daddy so we went back to the other marker and then to the shore.  We played a few more games with my splunky, getting the rope and then getting a bumper.  Daddy plays fun games. 

After I finished, Aunt Cristi went and got uncle Jack and we all got to play more.  The humans keep throwing out a bumper in the water and I HAVE to go get it.  I run to the edge and jump as far as I can and then swim to it.  Today, I was so proud of myself.  I only almost drowned Mommy Doodlebug and Caly once!  I am getting better.  If they would jump further, I wouldn't land on them when we are all trying to get the bumper first!

I went up on land to run around with the others and then I saw it!  Aunt LeAnne was out in the water and Jack was swimming to her.  This could only mean ONE thing.....COOKIES!  I ran as fast I could to the water and jumped in.  I almost jumped all the way to her!  I swam out to her and she gave me a cookie.  So I kept swimming around her and nudging her for more.  Then the greatest thing ever happened.  I saw cookies floating all around her.  Its a FEAST!  She hollered, "Jeremy, come get your dog"  Daddy started running out to me.  But I just kept swimming and eating cookies.  I saw one of the cookies go under water.  I dove all the way under for it.  When I came back up, I looked and Mommy and she had really big eyes.  I think it scared her but I got my cookie.  I saw Daddy grab a couple of the floating cookies and he started feeding them too me.  Then we played the Still game and Daddy gave me more cookies. Aunt LeAnne left us. I guess she was out of treats.

Once we played some more, we all got baths and then Armada, Mommy Doodlebug and me went home.  We went outside to play and the weirdest thing was happening.  The neighbors were making thunder and lightning.  I have been outside when it comes from the sky.  Its much louder and much scarier, but this was coming from their house!  I didn't like it very much, so I barked at them to make them stop.  I kept barking but THEY DIDN'T STOP!  Its scared me even more.  Finally Mommy came outside and saved us.  Who knows what could have happened!

Once we got inside, Mommy told Daddy that we all got to sleep with them.  Did my ears deceive me?  I guess not.  When Mommy and Daddy went to bed, we all got to go up.  It was so great to fall asleep cuddled up between Mommy and Daddy. I could still hear the small thunder outside, but I knew I was safe between Mommy and Daddy.  I got up a few times throughout the night from being too hot but I was very quiet when I walked across Daddy to cool off.  I think he almost stayed asleep once!  I made it through the night and barely survived the small thunder.

Yesterday was nothing like normal.  Daddy didn't get me out of bed like normal.  I ran out and everyone was there!  Mommy, Daddy, Nanny, Chrissy, and my 3 new best friends Chris, Michael and Jimmy.  Nanny brought this food I had never smelled before.  I don't know what it was but I know there was meat in it.  I could smell it across the house. mmmmmm

After doing my normal greeting to everyone, I gotta smell them right?, Armada and I went outside and played for a while.  Then everyone left except Daddy.  Now things are back to normal. UNTIL play time with Daddy happened.  Outside, there is a tiny pond that Daddy has been playing with me in.  He takes chicken and holds it all the way at the bottom of the pond.  All I have to do is go get it.  SO I DO!!  MMMMMM.  Then he throws my splunky on the ground and has me pick it up. I get more chicken for that too.  So easy Daddy.  Like shooting fish in a barrel. Ok, maybe not.  I am not old enough to have a gun.

Then he does something different.  He dropped my splunky in the small pond!  BLOWS MY MIND!!!

I stare at it.  I paw it.  Its not coming out.  There is no chicken there.  WHAT TO DO!  I finally decide that maybe I can get that too.  Will I get chicken?  Only one way to find out.  So I picked it up and gave it to Daddy.  He was SOOOO happy.  He kept telling how good I did and said my favorite word.  JACKPOT!  I got lots of chicken.  This is a fun game.  We played it a couple more times and more chicken for me.  YAY!

Later we went to Aunt Cristi's house and played in her really big pond.  I played with Armada for a while and then I got to swim with Daddy and we played more of that hand game.  More chicken to me.  So Much Fun!

We came home with my dog mommy Doodlebug.  When we got home, Mommy Doodlebug and I played a lot.  We ran around chasing each other and barking.  It was fun.  Too bad Armada wouldn't join us.  Oh well, maybe next time.

YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!  Daddy came in early and let us out of bed.  Then he took all four of us, Armada, Docker, and the weird moving chew toy outside to play.  We ran around and wrestled for a long time.  Then I was sad cause Aunt Cristi stole Docker from me.  To make myself feel better, I licked the weird chew toy until it snapped at me.  Then I went over to Daddy and gave him lots of kisses.  Soon after that, Mommy and Daddy put the weird chew toy in Mommy’s fast moving box and they left.  But they didn’t put me in bed?  What is this?  MORE PLAY TIME!!!!  I ran around the house and played with my toys for a while, but I started to miss Daddy.  Then I smelled it!  Daddy left his toy that he puts on his head when we play in the pond!  I know he left it for me.  If I bite off a small piece, I can smell Daddy for a long time.  If I bite off a lot of pieces I can spread them around!  Yeah, that’s it!  So I did.  When daddy got home, I think he was happy with my work.  I gave him lots of kisses and showed him what I did.  He shook his head and said, “well that’s my fault.”  See!  He is happy!

Then Mommy and Daddy took us outside to play some more.  Daddy made little balls of meat.  And they put them under water.  We could eat as much as we wanted as long as we got them from the bottom of the small pond.  Then I played this weird game.  Mommy throws a toy on the ground and tells me to pick it up.  So I do and she gives me food!  Then she throws it back down and tells me to pick it up again.  She is very clumsy.  We did this a bunch of times.  Last Daddy played with me on the moving board.  I walk up one side and it falls down and I walk down the other.  I don’t understand the purpose but its fun and I GET MORE FOOD!

After it got dark outside, Mommy was going to put us in bed but Daddy let us go upstairs where we go give Mommy kisses.  He doesn’t do this often and Mommy looked at him weird.  Me and Armada didn’t complain though.  We all laid down to go to sleep and I cuddled up to Daddy until I got hot.  Then I got up and laid in the floor.  Then I missed daddy so I jumped back up and cuddled…until I got hot.  Then I got up and laid in the floor. Then I missed daddy so I jumped back up and cuddled…until I got hot.  Then I got up and laid in the floor.  I did this a few more times until it started getting light outside again.  Then I was cuddled up to Daddy and he rubbed my belly until I fell asleep again.

Now it’s a new day!  More time to play!
