Yesterday was an acceptable day.

Now that I am two years old, Armada keeps saying I must act my age.  So I have been trying to show my maturity and be more helpful.  Mom and Dad have been letting me sleep in their bedroom for the past few nights.  Armada likes to sleep on Mother's feet and take up a lot of the bed.  Being the nice brother that he is, Armada placed a pillow beside the bed just for me to sleep on.  This lets me be beside Mom and sleep comfortable.  He is such a thoughtful brother.  Mom's alarm clock goes off very early in the mornings and she seems to struggle waking up.  I have found this as the perfect opportunity to show my new found maturity.  The last couple mornings, I have jumped up in the bed and licked Mom and Dad on the head until they are able to move.  Then I go lay on Dad's pillow/head and kiss him until he pets me.  What better way to wake up that by kisses?  I know Mom appreciates my kisses.  She is waking up much faster.  I see her roll around waving her arms saying "uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh".  I am pretty sure that is her way of saying "Thank you" since this normally gets Armada to go kiss her too.

Dad is continuing to play tug with me during the day and playing games like bring it and take it.  Recently he has made me wait to take it and he holds my toy to his side before he lets me take it.  He just keeps messing with the games.  I play along but maybe I am too old for these games now? I will keep playing for now since its so much fun but I will keep thinking about it.

Yesterday, we went to Aunt Momma's house to play.  It was very different though.  We got there and it was raining.  When Dad let Armada and I out of the truck, we both ran down to the pond and jumped in to make sure the water was still safe.  I would hate for Mom to get in the water and it not be safe!  Thats when things got weird.  Instead of playing in the water, we went running on the hill.  I was very good and came back to Mom and Dad every time they called me.  It is nice that Dad gave me food when I came back. Once we got back, I was very tired.  Armada and I had so much fun being able to run all over the place. Armada had disappeared though.  I played with Mom and Dad in the pond.  They had a very fun game we played.  Mom was in the pond and Dad was out of it.  I got to run/swim back and forth between them and they gave me food just for going.  I did really good until Mom was way out in the water.  Dad was so far away I was confused.  So Mom swam with me back towards him until I went to Dad.  I need to practice that game some more.

Once we finished playing at the pond, we went down to Aunt Momma's house and I found Armada.  I dont know why he didnt stay up at the pond and play with us but I guess it was his choice.  Since I was so dirty, Aunt Momma gave me a bath.  Then I played with Mommy Doodlebug, Armada and Jack.  I couldnt play much.  I was just too tired.

After we got home, I was ready for bed.  Dad let us go back upstairs to Mom and Dad's bedroom to sleep.  Mom was folding the weird cloth toys they wear.  Since I am more mature now, I knew I needed to be good.  So I laid down on the floor to patiently wait. Finally Mom and Dad went to bed.  I KNOW Dad wanted to cuddle. I jumped up on the bed and laid down on Daddy's pillow so I could cuddle his head, and I fell asleep.

YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!

IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY!  I am now two years old.  For breakfast, we got LOTS of steak with our regular food.  It was sooooo yummy!  While Armada and I were eating breakfast, Mommy told me I am a big boy now.  I am not sure why Daddy started laughing.  He must agree with her.  But I don't feel any different?

Daddy and I have been playing a new game.  Yesterday, he played with me A LOT!  We start by playing tug.  Then he stops and tells me to give it to his hand.  Then the rope disappears!  Like magic, it reappears and he tells me to take it. When I grab it, he runs away?!?!?  I have to chase him to the other side of the house JUST so he will play more tug with me.  We tug some more and then we do it again.  Its a lot of fun but I don't understand why he runs away.  Daddy is crazy.

Mommy disappears for a long time during the day.  I miss her.  After she finally got back, yesterday, we loaded up in her fast moving crate.  What special thing does she have planned for me for my birthday?  In a little while, we got to Aunt Momma's house.  YAY!!! I get to play in the pond!!!  I jumped out of my crate and ran to the water.  It felt so good.  Then Armada and I ran all around.  I must be a big boy.  I got to run up on the hill some with Armada before Mommy called us back down.  This time was different though.  Where are all the others?  Where is Mommy Doodlebug? I didn't have to wear my clothes?  Today I just got to play with Mommy, Daddy and Armada! It was hard for me to focus.  Mommy had treats.  Daddy had treats.  I couldn't figure out who to play with so I tried to play with both.  We played ALL kinds of games in the water and out.  We swam a lot, played tug, played retrieve, and then swam more!  MIND BLOWN!!!

After we played up at the pond for a while, we went down to the house and Aunt Momma gave us showers.  I have to admit, I was pretty dirty and smelled weird.  I smell amazing now.  :)  The best thing happened while I was in the shower.  Aunt Momma sang happy birthday to me and fed me squirty cheese the WHOLE TIME.....STRAIGHT FROM THE BOTTLE.  8)

After my shower I got to play with Phoebe, Jack and Mommy Doodlebug.  Daddy came over and gave us all pieces of chicken.  We didn't even have to do anything!  I got extra pieces too.  Phoebe was slow to take hers.  So I grabbed them first.  hehehehehe

We loaded back up in Mommy's fast moving crate to go home.  Before we left, Aunt Momma wished me happy birthday and gave me birthday kisses!  She is a good kisser.  When we got home, it was dinner time.  As Daddy was walking to my bed to feed me, I couldn't help but squeal a little.  I could smell the chicken. Daddy gave us raw chicken and just a little bit of the regular stuff.  YUM!

After that, we settled down to rest.  Armada and I cuddled with Daddy on the couch to chill out.  I had a great birthday!  I hope they are all this much fun!

THIS WAS THE BEST WEEKEND EVER!!!

Days ago, Daddy loaded me and Armada up into Mommys fast moving box and left.  The truck was full of all kinds of stuff and Mommy was missing so it was weird but Daddy takes us to fun places so I was ready to go.  After a while, we stopped at a new place and Mommy got in and we left again.  It was weird but I was glad Mommy was there.  Then we drove....FOREVER....  It was boring but when we finally stopped, we went in to a room and Aunt Momma, Cindi, Mommy Doodlebug, and Phoebe were there.  It just kept getting more weird.  No complaining from me.  I played with Phoebe and Trek and gave everyone kisses.  YAY!!!!  Later Daddy and I went for a jog.  This place is very different than home.  There are lots of new smells.

After sleeping, we went to a new pond.  It was really fun and different.  There were a lot of dogs I didnt know here.  I just ignored them so I could play.  The water was very warm and I could walk out much further before I had to swim.  Daddy took me swimming multiple times.  I got to watch Mommy Doodlebug, Armada and Phoebe play in this really neat looking area that had boats.  I was sad that Daddy didnt take me to it but he kept taking me out in other places.

The next day, we went back to the new pond....AGAIN!!!  I was very excited as we got close.  I thought there were a lot of new dogs last time I was here but it was nothing like this time.  There were dogs EVERYWHERE.  It was scary.  I kept staring at them and they barked at me.  Daddy kept trying to make me stop but I just couldnt.  So many dogs.  After we got out in the water a couple times, I was able to calm down.  We played some and rested and played and ran.

We went back one more time.  I got to play in the water and I went jogging with Daddy.  We didnt stay as long this time.  After we left, we had a very long time again in Mommys fast moving box.  When we stopped, we were back home.  It was a long and exciting time.  I hope we get to go play in the pond again soon.

YESTERDAY WAS THE BEST DAY EVER!!!!

I got up yesterday morning and got to play outside for EVER!  It wasnt too hot so me and Armada played a lot out in the grass.  We came inside and ate breakfast.  We always eat beside each other.  Daddy locks my crate for some reason and leaves Armadas open.  Its kind of boring after I eat.  Daddy makes me wait until Armada finishes eating.  He eats sooooo slow.

Once Armada finished, Daddy let me out and we played tug for a little bit.  I love that game!  Then me and Armada played tug for a while until we were tired.  We took a nap and then Daddy took us out to play in the little pond some more.  I love my splunky.  Daddy gave it to me on the porch so I carried it out to the little pond for him.  I dont quite understand why he cant carry it.  So I dropped it a few times but we eventually made it to the small pond.  I got in and it felt so good.  Then I picked up splunky from the water a few times.  Such and easy game and I GET RAW CHICKEN!!!

After Mommy got home we went got in the fast moving box and visited Aunt Mamma.  It was only me and Armada at the pond so I didnt swim as much as normal but we played and had a lot of fun.  After that, Mommy played with Armada and then it was my turn!  We played splunky again.  Daddy hasnt figured out yet that I am really good at this game.  He dropped it in a really deep place in the pond.  I had my entire head under water!  But I got my splunky and got my chicken.  YAY!  We tried a new game today where I am going to wait on the shore for Daddy to get in the pond but I was too excited to go swim with Daddy so I struggled.  I will try harder next time.

After my swim with Daddy, I got to play with Armada some more.  I saw Mommy get in the water for some reason.  I was curious where she was going so I went swimming with her too!  It was SOOOO much fun.  We got out to the marker and she gave me chicken.  She seemed to be happy.  After we got out of the water, I heard her talk about Aidan and happy tears.  I like it when Mommy is happy!
